Patriot Surveying and Management is owned and ran by Paul Dorrell, an accomplished construction professional with over 18 years previous experience with both a leading national contractor and smaller businesses alike. Paul has a strong commercial and project management focus and he is highly skilled in the majority of construction disciplines.

Quantity Surveying
Being trained as a Main Contractors QS Paul has a decisive nature with extensive experience in measuring, packaging, evaluating, tendering and negotiating subcontracts. When considered with a excellent track record for cost control/ reporting and forecasting and being highly skilled at variation recovery upstream/ effective negotiation downstream the result is an exponential increase of profit margins for all of our clients.
When providing Quantity Surveying Services we can interject at any stage however being involved through the duration of the project will normally guarantee maximum benefit to our clients. We can use our templates or your standard company templates in any function we complete for you.
Pre Contract we will work alongside your estimators/ existing costings (see estimating services below) to evaluate and advise on any specifics as required. During the construction stage, we will work closely with your site team in order to achieve your desired end result, maximising value and ensuring best prices and stringent cost control throughout. We are also happy to work post contract negotiating & closing final accounts up and downstream as required as well as evaluating and aiding with any Dispute Resolution if required.
Project Management
Our aim is to manage your project to ensure that it is completed within budget, on time and to the highest quality. We believe the key to good project management is effective communication at all levels and this is something we pride ourselves in.

Estimating
Taking off and pricing a job can be very time consuming if done accurately. We can help you manage the tendering process so your estimating department can focus on other enquiries or, so you can focus on growing and developing your business.
We will typically require at least two to three weeks’ notice depending on the amount of tender information and the size of the project, but we can also provide a fast return depending on your requirements.
